Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a Texas Journeyman Electrician who is comfortable working in field and industrial environments and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience in oil & gas or industrial electrical systems preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in the field or as part of a team
• Safety-focused with strong situational awareness
• Professional attitude and solid communication skills
• Willingness to work in all weather and remote field conditions
• Flexible schedule, including occasional overtime or call-outs

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair oil & gas electrical systems
• Test electrical equipment for voltage, current, resistance, and continuity
• Work with AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, and 120V control circuits
• Install and maintain conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and power distribution systems
• Perform 3-phase power work, motor terminations, and control panel wiring
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems affecting production
• Respond quickly to electrical failures to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and power distribution equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-lines
• Safely work on systems up to 480V, including switchgear and transformers
• Install and maintain generators, industrial batteries, and field power systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance and safety documentation
