Role Description

The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Des Moines Metropolitan Area. We start at $46.70/hr, with our full benefit package at $68.48. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and/or residential settings. The electrician will read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications, ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes, and perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, collaborating with other trades on job sites, and following strict safety protocols. Electricians may work on new construction, upgrades, or maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician license
• Strong foundation in electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of electrical components and systems.
• Demonstrated ability in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and infrastructure.
• Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles relevant to field installation and system performance.
