Electrical Apprentice

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Electrical Installations:
• Support journeyman electricians with the installation of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Help with wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Maintain Tools and Equipment:
• Organize and maintain tools and materials needed for electrical work.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Learn and Follow Safety Protocols:
• Adhere to safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.
• Understand Electrical Codes and Regulations:
• Study and familiarize yourself with electrical codes and standards relevant to the job.
• Assist in ensuring that all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
• Conduct Basic Electrical Tasks:
• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, including testing circuits, troubleshooting minor issues, and making simple repairs.
• Learn to use electrical testing devices and instruments.
