Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage circuits, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safe and compliant installations.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry, schematics, and other trades.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems for safety, performance, and code compliance; perform repairs or upgrades as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including logs for inspections, repairs, and system modifications.

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification with proven industrial electrician experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
