Journeyman Electrician

Our company is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team and help with the repair, installation, and maintenance of residential electrical systems. You'll be working directly in customers' homes, providing high-quality electrical services to homeowners across the area. Day to day, that means installing electrical disconnects for heat pumps, wiring and connecting generators, and handling a wide range of residential electrical work. You'll also interact with our team to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and make sure every job meets code and leaves the customer satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire electrical disconnects for heat pumps and other HVAC equipment.
• Install, connect, and service standby and portable generators, including transfer switches.
• Perform a range of residential electrical services: panel upgrades, circuit installation, outlets, switches, and lighting.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, work orders, and written specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend repairs.
• Inspect, connect, and safely operate electrical power tools and equipment.
• Respond to service calls and emergency situations involving electrical hazards.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
