Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems ensuring safe and compliant wiring practices per NEC standards.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry and other trades.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
• Follow all safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites or renovation projects.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical installations.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage wiring is highly desirable.
