As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in their craft and can operate effectively — independently or alongside a team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Journeyman Electrician / Electrical Installer, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical installations across residential and commercial job sites throughout Michigan. This role is built for someone who can take ownership of their work, manage job-site tasks with minimal supervision, and consistently deliver results that meet Michigan electrical code standards.

You will represent Blue Heron Electric professionally in front of customers, communicate clearly about the scope of work, and complete projects on schedule — whether working solo or alongside fellow technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings, including wiring, panels, breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and project specifications accurately
