Journeyman Electrician

RNZ Electric is seeking a full-time Licensed Journeyman with experience in commercial electrical systems. Our service area is South-Eastern Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run crews of 2 or more Electrical Apprentices
• Teach and direct Electrical Apprentices
• Read blueprints/schematic drawings
• Work at multiple job sites in a day and/or week
• Communicate with Site Supervisors
• Collaborate with and assist other trades departments as needed
• Communicate project status through the use of phone and email
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelines
• Cut, bend and install conduit
• Pull/Run Wire
• Install fixtures
• Install panels

Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID Electrical Journeyman License in the State of Michigan (this will be verified with LARA)
• Good work ethic
• Team leadership experience
• Majority of working hours in Commercial and/or Industrial electric installation
• Own tools - required tool list will be supplied
• Valid Driver’s License
• Self-starter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
