Journeyman Electrician

*Bierlein-Trombley Electric* is currently interviewing qualified, licensed journeyman electricians for work in the Traverse City and surrounding areas. *Job Summary*

Primary functions of our journeyman electrician may include: accurate and timely completion of assigned jobs including residential, commercial, industrial, service work and generator installations. Provide professional service to clients with a positive attitude at all times. Our ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong initiative with quality focused and detailed oriented work ethic.

*Specific Requirements*

• Prefer experience in commercial/industrial and residential electrical (6 years experience preferred including time as an apprentice and journeyman electrician)
• Possess a State of Michigan Journeyman’s License (Required)
• Must have current and working knowledge of the NEC
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
• Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications as required
• Experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Working knowledge and experience with electrical tools
• Ideal candidate should have commercial and residential electrical experience, some control work, or electrical apprentice experience
• Additional experience in construction or electrical industry is also preferred

• Manage and educate assigned apprentice electrician(s)
