Journeyman Electrician 5 years commercial or industrial experience required

Job Overview: 60 hours a week guaranteed

We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with power tools, reading blueprints, familiar with conduit bending, motor control center and skilled in all areas of electrical construction. 5-year minimum experience in commercial and industrial construction required for Journeyman electricians. CDL a plus. Work for an established company with offices in Hattiesburg and the Gulf coast.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Heavy commercial or industrial experience a must

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
• Familiarity with industrial electrician practices
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems

control experience a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and problem-solving skills
