Several full-time positions available with the Water Department, Water Supply-Treatment Division, located at 1 NW Briarcliff.

Salary Range: $26.10-$29.82/hour

Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 6:30a.m.-5:00p.m.

Responsibilities

--------------------

• Installs, repairs and maintains of a variety of electrical systems and equipment and the Water Supply and Treatment Plant, along with the pump stations.
• Installs and maintains wiring systems, motors and power generators.
• Performs skilled electrical tasks and standard practices of the electrical trade.

Qualifications

------------------

REQUIRES

high school graduation and 3 years of progressively responsible experience performing routine and moderately complex electrical maintenance and repair work;OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies.May be required to possess a valid MO Class A, B, or C CDL prior to the end of the probationary period as determined by the department. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
