What you’ll do

Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure park facilities operate safely and reliably.

Perform electrical work across all phases, from 120-volt to 480-volt systems, supporting a wide range of facility and infrastructure needs.

Maintain and repair lighting and power systems, including time clocks, pumps, motors, relays, contactors, traffic or change lights, ballasts, breakers, and outlets to keep facilities functional and well-lit.

Perform electrical installation work at department facilities and assets, including installing new electrical lines and repairing wire breaks to support upgrades and ongoing operations.

Perform work from a bucket truck and use hand and power tools, voltmeters, and ammeters to safely diagnose and complete electrical repairs.

Assist with maintenance and repair of non-electrical assets and projects on Parks & Recreation property as needed and perform other assigned duties to support overall operations.

Electrical systems and equipment operate safely, consistently, and meet required standards.

Repairs and installations are completed correctly the first time, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.

Preventive maintenance helps reduce emergency repairs and extends the life of electrical assets.
