Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our Construction Services Group in San Diego, CA. This position primarily supports electrical work for small construction projects, tenant improvements, and facility modifications.

The Industrial Electrician will focus on installing, modifying, and troubleshooting commercial/industrial electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The role may also include limited support of other trades (such as drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing, and basic building repairs) as needed to complete electrical work and support project teams; however, electrical work is the primary responsibility.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-driven individual with strong commercial/industrial electrical experience who is comfortable working in a construction-oriented environment and collaborating with other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support small construction and renovation projects involving electrical installations, modifications, and repairs.
• Install, modify, and troubleshoot commercial/industrial electrical systems and equipment under applicable codes and standards.
• Perform tenant improvements and facility electrical upgrades (lighting, outlets, circuits, equipment power, panels, etc.).
• Plan and execute electrical tasks from drawings, one-line diagrams, and field instructions with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to sequence electrical work and support overall project schedules.
