Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, wiring, and testing of low voltage systems including home automation, CCTV surveillance, luxury indoor/outdoor upgrades, and audio/visual technology.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, sensors, cameras, and cabling to identify issues or potential failures.
• Support senior technicians with system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on-site.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and system configurations.
• Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes such as NEC standards during installation and maintenance activities.

Experience

• Previous experience in service technician roles or construction environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, hardware components, and telecommunication systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with reading schematics, technical drawings, or electrical blueprints is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment is beneficial.
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to support technical troubleshooting efforts.
