Major Duties and Responsibilities include

• Uses appropriate test equipment to prevent overloading.
• Utilizes all instruments correctly and equipment normally used by journeyman electricians.
• Ability to select and use appropriate hand, and power tools.
• Maintain, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, test and check for proper voltage capacity, loading of wires and equipment, and balancing of loads.
• Installs, modifies, repairs, troubleshoots, and tests new and existing substations.
• Utilizes protection gear and general personal protective equipment (PPE) for work on electrical systems.
• Traces hard-to-locate defects or problems associated with the completion of repairs and installations
