Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and local regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, handyman professionals, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur
• Assist in the planning of electrical layouts based on blueprints and schematics for new construction or renovation projects
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments
• Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC compliance standards
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools necessary for electrical work
