Electrician (Special Services Team at AIY Properties)

AIY Properties is hiring for an Electrician for our apartment communities in Northeast Ohio. The Electrician will be on our Special Services Team and will be responsible for excellent customer service while diagnosing and repairing the electrical systems for our apartments. Option of a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.

Successful Electrician Candidates Must Have

· OCILB State of Ohio License

· Minimum 5 years of electrical experience in residential service

· Knowledge of National Electrical Code and State of Ohio Codes

· Ability to demonstrate competency in electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, repairing and preventative maintenance on older electrical systems

· Proficiency of security and fire safety systems is a plus

· Understanding blueprints, schematics, building plans and engineering drawings

· Own hand and power tools pertinent to the electrical trade

· Understand various gauges, sizes, conduit, couplings, fittings, relays, circuit breakers and other electrical devices

· Provide exceptional communication and customer service skills by arriving on time and being dependable
