Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring installations on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or issues within electrical systems.
• Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, NEC guidelines, and local electrical codes for safety and compliance.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following electrical safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry, HVAC systems, or other trades.
• Document all work performed through detailed reports and logs for project tracking and quality assurance.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards such as NFPA 70 compliance and advancements in electrical technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, power tools, and hand tools.
• Knowledge of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage wiring techniques for various applications.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC guidelines, and local electrical codes for safe installation practices.
• Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical diagnostics across complex systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as journeyman electrician license or equivalent are preferred; additional training in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
