Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Execute high-voltage and low-voltage wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit bending, panel installations, and system upgrades efficiently.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to support automation processes in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately while coordinating with other trades such as frame carpentry or general contractors during construction or renovation projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for project documentation.
