Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Electrician will work with various tools and equipment to ensure that all electrical installations are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Work with low voltage systems as required for specific projects.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while performing tasks in various environments.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards is essential.
• Experience with low voltage systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
