Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical installations
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or issues
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation processes
• Ensure all work adheres to NEC standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to coordinate project timelines
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on high voltage and low voltage systems to prevent outages or failures

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation projects
