Duties

----------

• Serves as a working leader responsible for passing on supervisor instructions, getting work started, and ensuring team members are actively engaged in assigned tasks.
• Plans the daily use of personnel, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools on a day-to-day or project-by-project basis to ensure efficient operations.
• Recommends adjustments to schedules, priorities, and work sequences; makes minor procedural deviations or redirects resources to overcome issues such as equipment failure, material delays, or unplanned absences.
• Demonstrates proper work methods by performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks within the electrical trade to guide and train team members.
• Performs inspections on repair work completed by electricians on existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment; provides critical technical feedback to correct deficiencies.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex issues within electrical distribution networks, circuits, equipment, and systems using specialized testing instruments.
• Traces hard-to-locate defects and performs advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and installations with minimal oversight; acts as a subject matter expert to advise other electricians on atypical or complex work orders.
• Adheres strictly to work priorities, project schedules, resource allocations, and detailed work plans established by the supervisor.
