ELECTRICIAN Journeyman Site Superintendent

Overview

We are seeking a Journeyman Commercial & Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and components, with the ability to read and interpret schematics.

Duties

• Manage and direct the activities of multiple crews of electricians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Supervise crews operating specialized equipment.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports, including project progress, resource allocation, and compliance documentation.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to detect faults in electrical systems.
• Collaborate with team members to implement solutions for mechanical issues related to electrical systems.
• Collaborate with General Contractor, order material, manpower projections.
• Ensure safety and quality meets company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs and solutions.
• Document all activities, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Coordinate with senior superintendents, project managers to develop and implement electrical plans and timelines.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License w/ TDLR card
• 5-7 years electrical experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail for detecting issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Must have good driving record.
