Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools across multiple project sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions.
• Ensure all work adheres to NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety regulations at all times.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work within renovation or new build projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance records.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with high voltage (HV) and low voltage wiring systems.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines, circuit troubleshooting, and the use of testing instruments like ohmmeters.
