The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment, conveyor systems, and mobile equipment at Savage’s Detroit Handling operation inside the Marathon refinery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, hoists, cranes, and the facility.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems as they arise and repair or replace them as needed.
• Work with refinery personnel to obtain appropriate permitting procedures, such as LOTO, Safe Work, Confined Space, and Hot Work.
• Perform work in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Learn and partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to utilize the SAP system as a tool of organization and preventative maintenance, ordering, record keeping, including accurate and neat paperwork.
