Electrician

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Electrician III provides general electrical construction and maintenance services for Franciscan hospital facilities under the direction of engineering management. This position assesses, prioritizes, troubleshoots, and repairs facility electrical components requiring repair, replacement, or new installation. This position performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, building standards, and hospital policies. The Electrician III operates, maintains, repairs, and installs electrical circuits, equipment, and apparatus, to provide a comfortable and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• *Schedule:* *Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (some on call hours as needed)*
• Assist in facility electrical systems management including PM development, budgeting, system assessments, and life cycle planning.
• Diagnose malfunctions in facility electrical equipment, systems, or electrical components, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for the facility’s electrical equipment, systems, and electrical components.
• Maintain the computerized maintenance management system through the appropriate completion of work orders and the recording of equipment history.
