Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely following NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines
• Conduct renovations on existing electrical systems during construction or remodeling projects
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; implement effective solutions promptly
• Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and local regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Experience

• Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of complex electrical systems
