Electrician

As a valued member of our team, an electrician performs all types of electrical jobs throughout assigned locations. Electrical jobs include maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery used in production and manufacturing.

Essential Functions

* Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial equipment. * Install, adjust, and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges, and instruments. * Troubleshoot, evaluate, and coordinate electrical needs, repairs, and modifications. * Ensure that the manufacturer’s standards of repair and maintenance are met on all equipment. * Adhere to all rules and regulations at all times to ensure compliance with codes. * Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds. * Meet or exceed company safety standards. * Read and understand English sufficiently to be able to read technical information contained in manuals, reports, and related instructions. * Develop, read, and use mechanical, electrical and structural sketches, blueprints and drawings. Non-Essential Duties:

* Maintain good housekeeping. * Attending all Safety meetings. * Performs other duties as assigned by management. Core Competencies:

* Computer literate and able to use existing program of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. * Strong analytical/problem solving skills. * Good mathematic/mechanical aptitude. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours to be determined. Not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
