Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring work in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure safety and compliance.
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment; implement effective solutions promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation projects.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, power meters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to work on construction sites with experience in renovation projects; familiarity with framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus.
