Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Perform high voltage installations and maintenance as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters for frame carpentry tasks when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Residential Electrician.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
• Experience with high voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
