Summary

The Electrician plays a key role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of building systems. Working as part of a multidisciplinary HVAC and maintenance crew, this position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and HVAC equipment, responding to service requests, and ensuring all building systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Compensation

* Base Salary: $41.93 per hour ($36.20 Base salary + Health & Welfare: $4.93 up to 40 per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with the established preventive maintenance schedule and asset list.
• Ensure all required materials, tools, and replacement parts are available in advance to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Conduct daily building inspections (“daily tours”) to verify the proper operation of all electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to urgent tenant or building issues, coordinating solutions with team members and supervisors as needed.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance checklists accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintenance or repairs on equipment outside of primary electrical or HVAC responsibilities, as directed by the company.
• Support the On-Site Supervisor in preparing cost estimates and task order quotations.
• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate HVAC and electrical systems to verify proper functionality, efficiency, and safety compliance.
