E2 Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, as well as the ability to work with both low and high voltage systems. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using various testing devices such as an ohmmeter.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including frame carpentry when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials or standing for long periods.
• Certification or licensure as an E2 Electrician *required*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
