Custom AV Apprentice – Smart Home & Home Automation

Provident Electric is looking for a motivated Custom AV Apprentice to join our growing low-voltage division. This is an opportunity to build a career in the exciting world of luxury smart homes, working alongside experienced technicians installing and programming some of the industry's leading technologies.

You'll gain hands-on experience with:

• Smart home automation
• Home theaters and distributed audio
• Lutron lighting control and motorized shades
• Networking and Wi-Fi systems
• Security and surveillance
• Whole-home AV systems

We're looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. No previous AV experience is required—we're willing to train the right person. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are far more important.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
• Clean, professional appearance
• Strong communication skills
