Journeyman (O1) Commercial Solar/ESS Installer

Duties & Skills

· Ability and willingness to train and supervise electrical apprentices

· Understanding of the wiring and the layout of CommercialPV and ESS components

· Ability to safely work on the roof and on ladders

· Maintain a clean jobsite and a work van

· Working safely with electrical equipment of different voltages and configurations

· Install, maintain, and/or repair electrical systems for commercial solar projects in accordance with local and national electrical codes

· Working with equipment for bending, cutting, pulling, and installation of conduit and wire

· Troubleshooting various systems and components

· Coordinating with electrical inspectors and/or various entities performing required inspections

· Professional, customer-facing, positive attitude

· Analytical thinker with the ability to problem-solve independently

· Ability to travel across the service territory, with potential opportunities to work in other regions

· Ability to navigate technology (laptops/tablets, e-mail, and other job related apps

· Flexibility with working in a residential environment when needed
