What You'll Do

As our Low Voltage Technician, you'll install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and service a variety of commercial low-voltage systems throughout Middle Tennessee.

You will

• Install Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and specialty low-voltage cabling.
• Terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems.
• Install cable trays, J-hooks, conduit, sleeves, and support infrastructure.
• Install and service access control, CCTV, security cameras, and related devices.
• Assist with network rack installations, patch panels, switches, and equipment cabinets.
• Read blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Perform cable certification and testing using industry-standard equipment.
• Troubleshoot wiring, connectivity, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and general contractors to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized documentation, labeling, and as-built information.
• Keep work areas clean while representing S&L Electric professionally at every job site.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company quality expectations.
