Commercial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and circuit breakers
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers to complete tasks efficiently
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical components to support automation systems
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and site setup to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
• Conduct routine inspections on high voltage and low voltage systems to identify issues before they escalate
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematic updates and inspection reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and construction site work
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
