Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and panels
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
• Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms, data cabling, and communication networks
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects and new builds to ensure timely completion of electrical work
• Test electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
• Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work on construction sites

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrician tasks preferred
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites, renovations, or large-scale commercial projects
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics for industrial automation applications
