Temporary Part-time Electrical Apprentice Instructor

* Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis.

* Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns.

* Prepare lesson plans.

* Track student grades and attendance.

* Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.

* Maintain expertise in the subject area.

* Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.

* This position holds responsibility for the success of the Electrical Apprentice program. It requires that a professional attitude be modeled as well as taught and that students are given the knowledge, skill and ability to serve the community as a professional electrician. Instructors provide assessment of students through applicable monitoring and reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications * Must have actively performed work on electrical systems in the construction, repair or design as they pertain to the residential, commercial or industrial industry for a minimum of five (5) years.

* Extensive knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code.

* Two years teaching experience preferred.

* Journeyman level of certification preferred.
