As a *Skilled* *Electrician (Electrician A)*, you will be a member of the department’s operating team and will be responsible for operating/using complex electrical tools, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Pay Range: $35.78 to $45.14

*Starting Pay Rate dependent on the candidate's level of education, skills/abilities, and job knowledge/experience.*

*You will have the opportunity to:*

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Work from circuit diagrams and SOP’s, when available, and recommends alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel.
• May be asked to assume duties of Lead Electrician when absent.
• Recognize operational irregularities on equipment of processes, accurately determines the cause and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-year degree in electrical controls or electronics.
• Must have 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience.
• Must have completed at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience.
• A completed approved four-year apprentice program will also be considered.
• Shift work is mandatory.
