Service Electrician

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage wiring, low-voltage controls, and industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs with precision.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to protect yourself and team members during all phases of work.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and parts used for future reference and compliance audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial, commercial and residental electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
