Service Electrician

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical components, including testing with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure safety and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Assist customers by providing expert advice on electrical upgrades, renovations, and system improvements to meet their operational needs.
• Perform schematic wiring, framing carpentry tasks, and basic handyman duties related to electrical projects on construction sites.
• Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems in industrial settings.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of NEC regulations.
