Senior Electrical Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. This role involves installing residential whole house generators, maintaining, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure, supporting our commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
• Lift heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during installations
• Read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics,
• Implement project scheduling to coordinate activities efficiently while minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on root cause analysis for recurring issues; contribute to continuous improvement efforts through detailed documentation
• Read and interpret schematics accurately; apply knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for compliance.
• Assist in the installation , electrical wiring, and control panels for new equipment
• Use hand tools and diagnostic instruments
• Maintain detailed records of activities, parts used, and system modifications in accordance with operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician with a strong background in electrical principles.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with Generator Installations. (Preffered)
• Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations; ability to perform electrical wiring tasks safely according to code requirements.
• Mechanical knowledge related to electro-mechanical components; ability to interpret mechanical drawings is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams; detail-oriented with meticulous documentation habits.
