Residential Wireman/ Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented candidates to join our team. The ideal candidate shall have a preferred amount of electrical and construction experience, minimum 3+ years, with a focus on new construction installs, kitchen/ whole home remodels, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, conduit installs such as PVC and EMT. This role involves working on diverse projects including renovations, new construction sites, underground conduit installations, panel upgrades, etc. Each candidate shall be knowledgable with local code amendments and National Electric Code. This will play a vital role in ensuring safety, compliance, and quality in all projects.

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems within residential dwellings and commercial settings
• Layout new construction homes from blueprints for electrical rough ins
• Install switches, outlets, can lights, disconnects, breakers, etc
• Perform underground conduit installations for sub panel feeder wiring, main panel upgrades, etc.
• Read blueprints and technical schematics to accurately execute installation and repair tasks
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations including NEC guidelines and local applicable codes
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Qualifications

• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation
• Minimum 3+ years in the electrical trade, preferably residential new construction
• Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical work
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
• Familiarity with NEC standards and local applicable codes
• Background in general construction is a plus
