Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Residential Service Electrician with strong technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills. This role involves mainly residential and light commercial diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading residential electrical systems while providing homeowners with honest, helpful guidance and top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential electrical systems and components.

· Install and upgrade wiring, lighting, panels, outlets, and circuit breakers.

· Ensure all work complies with the NEC, state, and local codes.

· Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners about electrical issues and solutions.

· Maintain detailed and accurate job records via service software.

· Manage personal schedule efficiently while adhering to project deadlines.

· Operate and maintain a company-provided service vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 8 years of hands-on residential electrical experience.

· Strong working knowledge of current NEC requirements.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.

· Valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with smart home devices and energy-efficient technologies.

· Proficiency in EV charger installations and backup generator systems.

· Familiarity with mobile field service tools and apps.
