Valentine Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot electrical issues, and complete residential projects with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

This position is primarily focused on residential service, remodeling, and installation work. However, we also perform select commercial projects, and the ideal candidate will be interested in expanding into commercial work as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
• Install and replace outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, wiring, and electrical panels
• Perform service calls and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
• Complete panel upgrades, service changes, remodels, and new installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local codes
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and other trades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience required
• Residential electrical experience required
• Must be capable of performing residential electrical work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and construction drawings
