Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in residential settings.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and quality assurance.
• Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring installations for various electrical systems within homes.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety procedures.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to plan project scope and timelines for renovation or new construction projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of electrical systems in homes.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
