Plant Electrician

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Training period would be day shift, 6am-2pm, and then it will become an overnight shift, currently 10pm-6am

Responsible for providing daily preventive maintenance and repair of electrical power systems, electronic equipment, and instrumentation. This role involves troubleshooting machine breakdowns, assisting with mechanical repairs, and safely restoring equipment to proper operating condition. The position supports plant operations by providing coverage in the Loadout, Crushing, and/or Coloring departments as needed, while strictly following all safety policies and JSAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore machines to safe operation
• Calibrate instruments and replace or repair faulty components.
• Assist with mechanical repairs as required
• Conduct inspections to maintain equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and support continuous improvement efforts.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Two‑year college degree (Associate’s degree) in Industrial Electrical Technology or Industrial Electrician required; equivalent technical training and experience may be considered. Demonstrated knowledge ofA/C electrical systems and three‑phase circuits. Working knowledge ofindustrial instrumentation, including installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop diagrams. Communication skills must be at a high level in order to clearly communicate issues/problems of the process.
