Multifamily Electrician - Apopka FL

Job Summary

The Multifamily Electrician is responsible for installing electrical circuitry and components in new construction apartment and amenity projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities

* Report directly to the Multifamily Superintendent.

* Direct electrical apprentices when required.

Duties/Responsibilities

* Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to the NEC code.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify installation layouts.

* Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and devices.

* Troubleshoot and repair circuitry and components.

* Maintain safety standards.

* All other duties as assigned by the Multifamily Superintendent.

* Understand local and national regulations for safe electrical systems.

* Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.

* Self-motivated and driven to complete job tasks effectively and efficiently.

* Good work ethic and willingness to learn.

* Physical dexterity.

* Ability to communicate clearly.

* Organizational skills.

* Ability to work well with others as a team.

Education and Experience

* 2-5 years of fast-paced electrical new construction experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

* Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
