We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and industrial mechanics. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities & Duties

Must have a technical capacity, ethical conduct, communicate proficiently, and show initiative and be result driven.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Basic Computers skills
Electrician Skills and PLC Programming
Ability to read and interpret Work Orders, manuals, and blueprints
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Experience in fabrication including machining and welding
Knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures
Proper and safe setup and maintenance of machines
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks.
Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to facilitate repairs and installations.
Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for equipment repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
Processing PMs on all shop equipment according to a regular maintenance schedule assigned by the Maintenance Dept. Manager
Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement solutions promptly.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial environments is essential and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with team members in other departments.
Reporting as needed of maintenance backlogs, machine down time, and lead times to management.

Physical Demands

Sitting, Standing, climbing, and bending movements: Frequent standing with breaks according to work schedule, frequent bending movements.
Repetitive work with both hands-on parts and computer usage.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at certain times.
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and forklift.
