Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team immediately. Candidates must be fully capable of terminating Cat6 cabling, have all necessary termination tools, and be ready to work right away.

The role involves installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems (Cat6, fiber, coax), security camera systems, access points, TVs, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat6, coax, fiber optic)
• Perform Cat6 terminations to a professional standard (punchdown, RJ45, patch panels)
• Mount and configure wireless access points, TVs, and security camera systems
• Set up POS equipment and residential alarm systems (no commercial alarms)
• Perform site surveys, follow blueprints, and document work completed
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cable runs and equipment
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients on job status
• Maintain tools, inventory, and a clean work environment on-site

Qualifications (Required)

• Experience is mandatory – minimum 1+ year hands-on structured cabling/low voltage installation
